Based on William Shakespeare’s Henry IV Part 1, Henry IV Part 2, & Henry V, Getty’s opera in two acts meets the silver screen in a special invitation-only event at the historic Cameo. The film features performances by baritone Lester Lynch as Falstaff, tenor Nathan Granner as Hal and Shallow, and soprano Melody Moore as Hostess. Additional cast members include Leslie Katter, Eugene Brancoveanu, Mark Hernandez, Andrew Pardini, Adam Lau, Kevin Short, Matt Boehler, Michael Jankosky, and Bruce Rameker.

Art Song Recital: Classical Cabaret at Festival Napa Valley

Leslie Katter will join soprano Lisa Delan and pianist Kevin Korth as a featured soloist in their presentation of Classical Cabaret — an intimate afternoon of theatrical treasures from the art song repertoire. She will perform selections from two of Jake Heggie’s song cycles, Eve-Song and Natural Selection, for soprano and piano.

Acclaimed American soprano, Leslie Katter, clarinetist and recorderist, David Barnett, and pianist, Kevin Korth, present a concert of American and British art songs and chamber works. The program features the world premiere of San Francisco composer JJ Hollingsworth’s 3AM, a setting of poetry by Lisa Delan for voice, clarinet, and piano, alongside Jake Heggie's setting of Delan's poem Unlocked, for the same forces. U.S. premieres include Stephen Dodgson’s The Monk and His Cat; Two Songs to Poems of William Alwyn by Gordon Crosse, and Seascapes by William Alwyn, while Sean Hickey's Bb for Solo Clarinet enjoys a West Coast premiere. Rounding out the program are Gordon Crosse's Water Music for recorder and piano, songs by John Ireland, and “Muffin’s Aria” from William Bolcom’s A Wedding.

$30 suggested donation at the door includes wine and hors d'oeuvres with gluten-free and dairy-free options.
